2012 resolutions

Here is my list to start the year, I figure if I put them all down and make them official then they will stick. I'll let you know if my theory works.

There really is more than black & white, right? I started off with a pink sweater yesterday, oh, and a purple tank during my workout this am...off to a good start.

I am needing to focus more on myself. My skin, exercise level, and vitamin intake has been lacking to say the least. This is the only body I have so I better treat it right.

My house is usually pretty damn clean, it has to be. I have clients, trades, and potential customers coming here a lot, and sometimes I only have a 10 minute warning. But my goal is to go to bed every evening to a clean home. Waking up to a space like that will help me start the day off in the right direction.

This one is something I need to work on and one of my very dear friends Erica keeps working on me with this. So I am listening Erica, positive thoughts about myself and my work.

So that is my list, what is on yours??? Let me know, like I said, maybe making yourself accountable for them will force you to stick to it. Here is to an AMAZING 2012!!! Mel xo

Love it ESPECIALLY the patience resolution and self maintenance. I really want to spend more time taking care of "me" I am so busy with everyone else and the house, and I often get put on the back burner! Its time for that to change a bit. Love the list, heres to a more patient, confident, better maintained, more colorful new you in the new year...cheers!

This is a great list, Melissa! Living in a clean home and waking up to one is the best feeling. I don't function well in chaos either. Wishing you all the best for 2012! xo

I started running a week and a half ago, but mine is to get moving and in shape. I am petite, but no longer have any muscle tone after dedicating that past nearly 6 years to raising my daughter. Now that she is in Kindergarten I have more time. I signed up to do a half marathon on March with my runner husband. This is a HUGE step for me!

Absolutely achievable resolutions :-) Love that you have Erica to support you; having a friend at your back can make all the difference! I jumped into one of my resolutions early... 5 days ago I quit drinking Diet Coke because of asparatame. It's been a challange, but I'm doing it!!
Happy New Year!!

Fabulous list! Gosh I need to wear more color, too. Half of my closet is black. Ugggh... I do take vitamins everyday and it does make a difference! So neat that Erica is your cheerleader. Love her.

May I say "DITTO" to the resolutions and try to stick to them as well.
Perfect sentiment - take care of yourself should always be a priority that seems to slip to the background on a regular basis. Cinderella complex?
Thank you so much for the beautiful post!

I love your list of goals. My list is pretty much the same as yours and add JOY to it....to radiate JOY!
I think it can be so much more fun that being like Eyore and going around with wearing a down attitude.
:)
Have a great year.
