I promise you this will be a hit and a recipe that is requested all the time. Give it a shot, you will NOT be disappointed!
1 C. unsalted butter (room temp)
2 C. sugar
6 ripe mashed bananas (3 C.)
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
2 1/2 C. white flour
2 t. baking soda
1 t. kosher salt
1 t. ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter & sugar together until it is light & fluffy.
Add in bananas & eggs, mix well until combined.
Sift together dry ingredients, slowly add into wet mixture and combine, do not over-mix.
Pour batter into either 2 loaf pans or 1 bundt pan that is lightly greased.
Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
Enjoy!!!
Hope you love this as much as we do, the boys get SO excited when I pull bananas out of the freezer (great way to save old bananas, just thaw in the skins before using, they will be watery but that is OK). Hope your day is off to a great start, I know mine is with a slice of this and a big ol' cup of coffee! Mel xo

YUM!! I have always made the bread in a loaf pan, so I will have to try this. Love the idea of freezing the bananas, too!
Looks delicious. Banana bread is one of my favorites. I am ready for lots of pictures of your new house. The Christmas pics were just a teaser. We want details :0! Have a great day!
YUM! I use a very similar recipe...and sometimes, just sometimes, throw in a handful of chocolate or cinnamon chips! ;)
I definitely need to try it in the bundt pan though...it always seems to take FOREVA to bake in the loaf pan.
My recipe is similar to this..never thought to change it up and bake it in a bundt pan. Love to bake! My reward after my kitchen facelift will be one of those KA's!!
Enjoy your day!
